I installed one of those Inlet Air Temperature Sensor power wires that has the resistor in it to trick the engines computer into thinking it's running cooler than it really is so it will advance timing and richin up the fuel mixture. It simply connects between the IAT sensor and the exsisting wire connector. I'm quite impressed. My seat of the pants dyno tells me that my acceleration has a little more to it now and I've noticed the rpm's rev a little quicker too.

Sadly, I can't test it for real on the track to see if my lap times would improve at all. Maybe I'll might go try and see if I can get some 0-60 times and see if there is any difference with and without it.

Anyone else used one of these and noticed any results?

I've never used one or seen it used, but I imagine if you have a G-TECH you could check it out. Seems like an easy way to add a little more oomph. Are there any bad "longterm" effects, though? :confuse2:

I know David Coburn used the same mod on his Ram 1500 with the Hemi engine. Said it gave him a couple tenths in the quarter. But he was also in the 15 second range. Not like he went from 10.50s to 10.20s... but it was still a measurable difference.

Dave is my co-worker and he's the one that got it for me :D
