I hate those damn things...simply because the numbtards that drive them give them a bad rep. :(

Since drifting became the really popular thing with young kids nowadays, what I wanted to see at the Super Lap Series was for the slightly older, racer, and shop owner crowd go and purchase all those souped up Civics for cheap and turn them into wheel to wheel cars for a Civic / Integra race.

I think it would be really neat to have a wheel to wheel series identical to the dirt track "bomber / stock" class, where all you need is a junk car, a roll cage, seat, harness and you're ready to go wheel to wheel.

Naw they have cars that actually go to the track. I don't mind loud cars that actually race. (you're gonna have to hear my race rabbit... jim kellers old one, its insanely loud!)
I'm talking about the kids who have slow cars but the exhaust is insanely loud and do 18's on the 1/4 and are scared to turn!

Actually, Dave, that's a really good idea. Something to think about...Civics and Integras are a dime a dozen around here...it would definetly be something to look into.

And yah...I agree exactly with Cory...it'd be one thing if the dude is punching out 500HP..blablabla...but half of them are pushing UNDER 200HP...not over, and they sound like an RX-7 at full throttle...only they're only going 20mph.

Blech. But...well...I guess to each his own. I guess some people enjoy the sound...I'm just not one of them...not at 12AM in the morning.
