Arcade Tournament #3 - Congrats to Mr.Perfect and DGGM9D6SS! [Archive] - Hawaii Talks

Hello All!

Welcome to the third of our monthly arcade contests! There's been a slight change to the contest prizes to make it more rewarding for participation.

The winner will receive a free $25 gift card to Regal Dole Cannery 18 Theatres. Second Prize will be a Super Lap Series t-shirt!

The tournament will be ran depending on the amount of players...2, 4, or 8 players. If there's more than 8, we will have two individual tournaments, possibly more, with the winners squaring off against each other!

The game of choice will be Snake!

Please be patient with us, as this is still a very new process! If you're interested, please post with your username below, thank you! We'll start once we have a good number of individuals signed up! Watch your PMs for the notification of the tournament start!

Right here. The deadline...hmm...I'd say probably by Friday. I sent out a mass email to try and grab some of our userbase that hasn't visited the site in awhile.

If we start getting an azzload of people then we'll go for it. So SIGN up if you haven't. It's an easy way to score a night on the town! Well, at least a an excuse to leave your house.

i think for future tournys, there should be a small prize for the person with the highest score, even if the person didnt win the tourny. i think it should be credited cuz some people can get high scores and royaly **** up later lol, anyone agree with me?

Gah...I knew that was possible. You only get three attempts, and you could royally f up...it's not the same as going for the high score.

KPseoul, that's an idea...I'll think about it...but right now, I'm having a hard time just finding people to PLAY in the tournament. Maybe once we have a few more people taking part.

If you could, please encourage people to visit the forum, as that's part of the reason I hold these things...to garner more users for the site. The other part is that I've always thought stuff like this was cool and it feels good to give something back to the users of the board.

I hope everyone enjoys the comp...heh...even if you had a bad day. :D

It should be best out of five, rather than three. It's too easy to mess up with just three chances, especially in the later rounds.
