Jeremy Clarkson is a long time motoring journalist for the BBC. Check out "Top Gear" on BBC America. Good stuff. He has no problems calling a car rubbish when it is! Some get their ultra nationalistic panties in a bunch when he does that. The guy is funny though, and Top Gear is a hillarious show.

YEah, I used to watch TG..just wondering if he even has the experience to call a car a POS.

hes a pretty good driver.. little chunky..but i hate how he always hates on american car.. he never compares bang to buck, its always about speed speed speed..
and his style of driving !for american car. its more for smaller, nimbler cars.. like the miata, lotus, etc..
im suprised he likes the bigger ferraris, lambos, and stuff.. id think the vette is a better car.
he had nothign bad to saya about the z06 other than that it was a all out sports car, not meant for driving on roads.
thats hott!
I don't really mind his anti-American comments. I find them interesting, actually. The only anti-American sentiment we're ever exposed to in our country is political, so it's interesting to witness a non-American's honest anti-American bias in anything that's not political.
Come on, the US is the world's greatest country. The whole world knows it. Nothing Clarkson -- or anyone else -- can say would ever make me not think that.

Because, except for a small number of exceptions, the US auto industry puts forth crap on a cracker. I've always said that when they start making cars worth driving I'll get one. I've been driving for 20 years now and I haven't found much that makes me want to buy a domestic car.

Clarkson is hilarious, and spot on with a lot of his comments on American manufacturers... if they took some hints from the japanese or europeans, we'd have some bad ass domestic cars here!

haha, i guess you guys are right.. not much american cars evoke that, wow, thats a nice, clean car, that id drive on a daily basis. none, sadly. the last one i think i liked that was 'economy' would probably be the SRT4. but even that got overrated when all the ricers bought it and started being asscircles. they need a sporty car thats clean, like a acura TL.. the ford fusion is close..but its still a bit chunky. chrysler doesnt have any..and chevy, the cobalt is cute, but not 'daily driver' styled.
tl, IS250, altima, now those are cars i would drive daily. :D
