This is a video taken from a Porsche GT3 at Spa-Francorchamps. It's trying to get around an Aston Martin, and they both get owned!

Now...that...is awesome. I love it when people do stuff like this. Just pray he never gets into a head-on collison in that thing. :gapteeth:

I bet the guys in the exotics were like :wtf: ?

That's a pretty damn good idea...if that's a race-taxi, then they're giving rides to people on that thing...awesome idea! Tom, let's do it! :D

That was cool! Reminds me of that F1 team that dropped an F1 engine in a van to do track orientations. I think it was McLaren with their V10. This was awhile back, maybe 10 years or so ago.

It's an idea...beautiful fabrication, the only nitpick I have is that the paint doesn't look too spectacular. But like I could do better. :D

Hmmm... that's familiar. Take an overweight, boxy shape, and make it out handle and out brake lighter, more nimble sports cars. Man, what an idea... LOL!! Good find. That's some amazing fabrication.

So, when are you gutting the Impala and installing an 8-point rollcage? :D

Right about the same time as I swap the LS1 and T56 6-speed manual... LOL... 6-point cage, maybe. Dunno if I'd "need" an 8.

Just teasing. I'm not going to try to compete with all out race cars. But I'd love to smoke "off the showroom" cars costing 3 times as much with half the weight. The 6-speed is on "the list", and maybe a built 383, but not much more. Tubular upper/lower control arms for the front, engine bay brace, and rear frame brace are about all that's left for the suspension before getting some r compounds on some lightweight 18"s

There's a couple of 911 engined VW buses running around here.
