dang. my friend used to idolize that guy.. i was never into rallying, but i sort of understand. he was freakin nuts.

It would have made sad the week he passed, but now it's a reminder of importance of family and the need to go out and do/try things you feel passionate about. He did more in his 39 years than most can do in 80...

The moment in the vid for me was when he was talking about the cossie and how he, his father and brother raced the car in different rallies. his motivation for doing so was out of family pride and accomplishment... the look on his face when he said, "everything's original and that's the main thing"... that small moment made me want to try to emulate his passion, joy and apprecation for life.
