i got the best idea!
Get a jeep! lol jk :P
its pretty cool, actually..reminds me of a jet or something.. the older models, where the door falls down to become stairs..
still, i doubt you'd use it for performance cars and i dont think lambos will look better with those doors at all.. the door up gives it the appearance of a bug in flight.. cool :D

i saw this a while ago on youtube. doesn't seem to be that safe though. removing b-pillar and lengthening the door 10 inches. wouldn't it just crumple during a side impact?

I wonder how much weight gets added to the car from the motors needed to move the door...
not for me.

I saw this a while ago, and I thought it was a cool idea at first. Then I realized how screwed you'd be if the battery died on your remote, since there's no keyhole. You'd also be equally screwed if you got in an accident and needed to get out of your car in a hurry.

other cars have removed the B-pillar. idk if its safer than w/ one...but if this passed NHSTA tests then well...I guess this JATECH door probably can too.
I dont have a good pic, but I think the MB-CL also lacks a B-pillar too.

you are correct, however, those cars were designed w/o a b-pillar.....
