I'm surprised that HPD didn't gun down any of the fans rushing the field.

I was wiped out and napped not long after the game ended.

I was somewhat ashamed at the conduct of the fans during the post-game interview with June Jones. I understand the enthusiasm of victory, but to disrupt and distract during the post-game is....I don't know.

Any news updates? Did HPD have to gas anyone? I can volunteer to shoot pepper gel at unruly fans.

But yes, congratulations to the Warriors as WAC Champions. I wonder what Bowl berth they could be shooting for besides the Holiday Bowl (if such a bowl game still exists; it's been awhile since I've been a fan).

Yes UH won I'm very proud of them. Hats off to BSU for putting up a good fight as well as June Jones classy move by taking a knee with less than a minute left on the Bronco's >1 yard line.

Thank you UH for making this season a historical one yet so far for the state of Hawaii!

haha...ashamed of the conduct? you need to watch a little more college football games...that is almost an everyday thing...HPD let the student section rush the field but tried to keep everyone else from leaving the stands...there was HPD in full riot gear protecting the goal posts!!! the WAC no longer has ties to the Holiday Bowl!!! that has been gone for years!!! Hawaii has the chance to make it to a BCS game but it will always have the Hawaii Bowl to fall back on!!! Besides that...the game was awesome...the crowd was amazing and I am glad my banners didn't get stolen!!!

Well, yeah, I stopped watching football games when I stopped my gambling addiction years ago. Probably 15 years or so already.

Don't get me wrong; I'm extremely happy and proud of what our Warrior Football program has been doing, and it is going down as the most memorable year for UH football ever...but I've heard and seen what happens when other cities collegiate sports teams win something big and awesome; some bad apples turn it into an opportunity for creating mayhem and usually it was with disastrous results...basically bordering on rioting and civil disobedience.

I didn't hear anything on the news, so I suppose that Hawaii fans have the ability and self-control to differentiate exuberant celebration and enjoying the moment without getting anyone's property jacked, cars overturned, buildings torched, women ravished, or civilians killed. I thought WCS after watching the interview.

Hawaii fans really do have more class than their mainland counterparts. I stand corrected, and hope that they can be just as cool @ the Washington game come Saturday.

And yes, I really ought to watch more sports on TV. I just can't imagine myself parked in front of a TV for four hours or so. If it weren't for the news, I'd probably not even watch a television set. For me, TV = bad nowadays.

In the new BCS standings, they're #12!
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/rankingsindex

That means they're almost set for a BCS bowl game!:pirate1:

Yes, I watched the whole game from a bar here in Ohio, and I was talkin shit to some Boise State fans. :belokan: :5shots:
I showed em my UH ID to show that I was a real warrior. :belokan:
I can't believe they finally got good after I left, and I can't be with any other fans. :eyepop:
I tried to riot after the game and flip some cars, but it jus ended up with me pukin on the sidewalk alone. :barfaway:
