sorry Geeeelberto!

cannot have the "for offroad use only" plaque on it, must have primary and secondary latches (original), and must have the windshield washer nozzles (operational) if the original hood had 'em.

hood pins not acceptable.

Hood pins are not acceptable as primary/secondary latching mechanism...

IIRC you can use them in addition to the OE stuff.

(Like 70-72 Chevelles had them as OE option)

OE latches have a primary latch (normal operation, cable released in modern cars)

and a Secondary latch, just in case you somehow grab the hood release while looking for the nitrous switch (oops)

Primary latch releases, socondary is the one you have to find with your fingertips to open the hood.

If a CF trunk has provisions to retrofit OE trunk latch equipment and keyhole, then will that require recon?

Basically this is for a CF trunk by Ralliart for Lancers/Evos.

Yea those are nice...I wasn't able to get that...Supposedly only 15 were produced by Ralliart Japan...I only got the trunk lid...Supposedly also only 15 were made...And it got damaged on the way here =\
