So yesterday I was running errands between my two houses. I see this black mustang (which I swear is lowered, but nice) cop sitting in someone's driveway lasering. I pass him in my beater Camry, he lasers me long and hard - which is fine I usually do speed limit in that area anyway. I went home and had to run back down to the local Safeway. Wife made me take my son along so I took the TL. Saw him pulling over a Sienna or something as I went down the hill, coming back as I came over the crest of the hill there he was and I swear - he didn't even put his gun up to laser me.
Just though it was funny that it was a reversal of roles. Usually I get those scrutinizing looks in the TL and don't get so much as a second glance in the beater. This time I got mad-dogged in the camry and a pass in the TL.... :hilarious:
It's been about 10 years since I last saw a cop in my neighborhood and, to tell you the truth, it's good to know that they're stepping up such enforcement in the residential areas rather than on the usual speed trap areas (H-3 etc.)
