I doubt Bronco's they got too much invested with Cutler. 49ers? Smith is starting to look like a bust. Jets QBs haven't looked that good, Ravens? McNair is done, Boller ain't the answer. Bears, Grossman sucks, and everyone else is getting old. Dolphins, drafted Beck from BYU, but who knows. Detroit might be a nice fit with Martz's offense. Kitna is kind of old and injured all the time. Panthers, Delhomme is always hurt and Carr is too this year. KC, Croyle? Is he the man? Giants, Eli is running out of supporters. Falcons look like they might need someone for 3-5 years...

I think Colt will go in the 2nd-3rd rounds depending on how he performs in the bowls and combine. Probably to a team like the 49ers, Giants, Panthers, or Lions who have a QB now, but could be looking for a low risk (a.k.a. not first round money) high potential guy. Cold, windy weather teams may stay away so I think teams that play in a dome or out west look good. So my final guess is 49ers or Lions.

Who remembers the year Ty Detmer won the Heisman, then that night (or a couple nights later) UH just rolled over him? I think it was '90, and the score was something along the lines of 54 - 28. UH was unranked, BYU was #4 in the nation.

Humbling, indeed, for them. And I lost my voice that night along with 49,999 others in the stadium.

No chance of any "Heisman curse" to jinx Colt come January 1st.



Character cannot be substituted with a trophy for the mantle and the hype that goes along with it. Colt will fare well ANYWHERE his paths take him.
