My inlaws are staying with us unitl my mother-in-law feels better after her heart surgery...so I ordered TFC for them while they're here. I used to have it in California for Elsie, but we got tired of it, and got rid of it. I just caught a bit of Wowowwee...and the chicks they've got on there are freakin' jailbait. Plus, the hosts are wearing skirts so short...they look like...uh...shorts. :wtf:
Dayamz. :faint:

As for feeling like a perv...that's usually a good indication that you are. I have embraced my perv-ness. I'm a level 10 perv! :)

I absolutely dont care for the channel. A lot of the documentaries are sad and depressing...truthful, but depressing. Their soap operas are f*cking over the top, but there's some truth to those too...because in real life, filipino domestics (the FOB kind) get way in over their head and say things really retarded...and famously..they all say "I like die" or "I'm gonna die" WTF? I'm just lucky my family is Americanized to say and arent down for that sh*t! Those game shows are funny though, I would perv out a select few gogo girls and hostess'...like say..ooh...she's hot. The people that participate the shows win by sheer luck, IMO...a lot of them are out there on a whim, guessing answers and stuff. They also ask a lot of questions regarding the U.S. too, something that most of the participants arent all to familiar with.

If you spend a little time watching TV in the Philippines you will find that most of the older generation are pretty oblivious to the sexiness portrayed by the women actresses and dancers. In part this warm and fuzzy feeling you are getting may be due to the fact that most young adult Pinay look 5 to 10 years younger than their western counterparts and this is might be adding to your heightened awareness of their sexuality. The mainstream popular shows like Wowowee and others (sex bomb dancers) are tame in comparison to the boldness and exhibition of American, European and Asian shows and movies and in the public you will see nearly 0% maybe 1% of the Western fashions depicted as you described. I would say that less than 1 in 100 Philippina would wear a short skirt to the shopping mall, for example. I think that in public, the women are amongst the most discrete in the world, but you are correct that some of their shows can be very titilating. A lot of the drama shows are pretty depressing, I agree and they always portay suffering and abuse, but you would understand this more if you understood the plight of the average Philippino. I think this is why they love the shows that give hope to the very few (gameshows) and relate so well to the sad dramas, then again they are fanatical about western movies and music also.

Yup, I remember when I first visted my soon-to-be-ex-wife's hometown (Dagupan, on Lingayen Gulf). Went to the beach, I was shocked  to see ALL of the girls were wearing dresses in the water. The only bikini wearing person around was a mahu.

When I used to take my wife to the pool at the Shangrila it would take her and her frinds half an hour to get down to their bikini's... that's a wonderful place, the Philippines, but it's reall messed up!

Can't say I care too much for Manila (actually, hate the place) but I like it out in the provinces. Heck, even Cavite is cool.
Just do not like Manila.
