Here is a quick video of some tuning runs. Watch the trees

Last ones I got; my wife stealing my ride.... he he.

She beat the piss out of it too; @ 9.3 PSI - 6 minute drive the Turbo Timer went from 20 seconds to 2:30 minutes and my intake temps were in the 140's....

Ok that is all; the garage wouldn't let me load up more than 2 pics.

I like what you've done to your car :)

Just an FYI, don't powdercoat your intercooler as it'll actually inhibit the IC's ability to transfer heat. Powdercoats and paints act as insulation, so what you want to do is anodize the intercooler instead.

As for your videos, I'm hearing a ton of compressor surge.

Thanks Keith, the BOV is driving me crazy; It has both a vacuum and boost connection; and the BOV studders a lot; but I cannot deduce any compressor surge. I have had my ear up against the turbo while going into boost and there is no noise from the snail. Any looser and it will still shudder AND it opens at vacuum (no boost just let off the throttle).

I KNOW what stalling the compressor sounds like (we ran the TC off the Landcruiser with no BOV. And for the life of me I can't hear it on my car; all I hear is shuddering on the valve itself.

With 9.7 PSI at the manifold; I make about 39 lbs/min of air.... so 380-370 at the crank; and probably 320 or so -ish at the wheels. Something like that; hard to say 100%.

The car wash cost me my soul....he he. :u27:

Well if there's no surge I stand corrected. What vacuum line did you utilize for the BOV? I usually recommend teeing off of the brake booster since that's (generally) the most reliable source.

I get my vacuum off the intake manifold directly. Same place I get vac/boost readings for the EMU.

After a few days trying to find a happy spot - I said screw it and bought a new BOV... again. I am starting a collection....
