It has begun...the rebirth of teh FD.

My FD to be more exact. Today, my father-in-law and I knocked out the cleaning for all of the accessories for the engine. Tomorrow, I'm gonna head up to the track, drop off the parts, and clean the engine bay of the car, and start to reassemble the engine.

I'm going to have to go slow, and take it step by step...work myself through each section of the engine, 'cuz to be honest...this is the first time I've ever put it together.

I'm going to take photos, etc...so this thread will be about the rebuild of the car itself, from the beginning to the end! So watch this thread!

Crap...I'm missing parts...I've got to order a ton of misc. nuts, bolts, & washers tonight...so it's been put on a hold status. This sucks. :(

I know yours is a RX-7, but I have a project book for Miata's that spells out how to re-install an engine. I'll be sure to bring it along.

When you say get rid of it, you mean junking it or selling it? I have an FC that needs parts if you're going to junk yours.
