No question about it, Aprilia has some awesome styling to go with their performance nowadays. Unfortunately, at UK6700 pounds, it will probably be over $10K when it comes Stateside (like the Shiver street-fighter, which shares the engine), even with the pricing adjustments. Still a drool-inducing bike nonetheless.
The thinking man's sportbike, Aprilia Shiver:

So does this mean you're thinking about getting back to riding after you're all healed up? I know for a bit you were kind of rethinking that thought....if so, then you will be this :biker: instead of this :shift:. The Kreggae is returning? :cheer3:

I am definitely wanting to get back into riding, but it won't be on an Aprilia, unfortunately. I might pick up my friend's FZ6 if he upgrades to the new Ducati Monster this year. Still not my ideal bike, but at least it's wheels. I'll still drive a car though, of course.

kreggae, what is your usual ratio between riding and driving?
i used to ride to & fro to work about 4 to 5 days a week... only used the car 2x or 3x a week!
my typical week would've been ride to & fro to work, mon thru fri
use car on wed eve (to pick up the missus)
and on weekends
sat: (handyman odd jobs, need room to haul tools)
sun: church. need room to haul the whole family and groceries.
although i can carry quite a bit on my moped. :)
it has a basket. :gapteeth: well, one of them does. :really:
do you enjoy riding more than driving?
I know that's a silly question to ask of riders. :boot:

When I was working, I used to ride to work Monday thru Friday, and maybe use the car in the eves and on weekends. In terms of miles traveled, I had to go close to 130 miles a week by bike, maybe less than 100 by car. And I think riding is immensely more enjoyable than driving, if a bit less comfortable.
