This is the low drag setup we just tried out on our work truck. Its pretty sweet it made a tad of noise though. 1st off we changed our tensioner pulley from about 3'' to about 1'' polished.

Then we had to groove the new pulley as we had some tracking problems at first

seriously though those guys drove around in that truck with that noise for a couple weeks apparently. I rode back to the shop w/ them and was like WTF? They said oh we were gonna get a new belt 2 weeks ago. Kombi: you've got bigger problems than a belt:insane:
Thanks Lois for being savy w/ parts and having the stuffs in stock. you are awesome! Now we have a happy delivery truck for the boys now. And no it didn't overheat, that belt was still real tight somehow, spun easily and really didn't seem to mind.

sure didn't sound nice though

you thought this was bad:smiley8:
sometime I'll have to share the forklift refill procedure that was once demo'd at work
1)run out of gas
2)top radiator off w/ gas
3)seek help:freakout:

that almost rivals the putting regular engine oil where the transmission fluids go...
demo'd at Seers Alas more than a few years back to my friends BMW...
the :insane: thing is that he didn't go and raise hell...
he just complained (to me & whoever else that listened) that they were stupid and swore that he'll never go back there again... (and he didn't)...
i wonder if they lost business because of him...
i wonder if he remembers this...
since it was mroe than a few years back...

kombi, your pics will really help me to do a similar setup if I ever get a 2000 Silverado... :boot:
