4 GTRs in Hawaii!

So my friends and I were driving around today looking for junkyards to buy parts from and guess what we spot. :really: 4 GTRs sitting in a Nissan car storage lot out in the sun. 3 black GTRs with partial covers and 1 white GTR with no covers (either spoken for or used for test drives) I tried to snap a couple of pics, but to no avail, crappy cell phone :awcrap: :awcrap: Hopefully I can get back to take pics...

I really have to say though, they look WAY better in person!:eyepop:

Gotta put your order in for the following year to get one now. It'll be interesting to see how it does in real life on the street compared to all the hype and speculation...

yep, i'd imagine that they'd all have been spoken for even before it was confirmed that they would be coming.

i forgot what car it was, but i kinda remember that people were lining up at dealerships practically throwing money at the dealers to reserve a car that was still just a concept car or something like that.

kinda like how people used to line up to buy a place at a condo that wasn't even built yet...

i feel bad. a GT-R was parked at a station and i came in with my C10. Everyone was looking at my C10 instead of the dudes GT-R. He would blow the doors of my C10, but a cam,gear drive,Purple metallic,white interior with a cute chick always wins. lol.

$80k for a car is chicken feed for a top notch stripper. Those pull in anywhere from $15k - $20k+ a month.

Its not a family car...its a supercar. In the league of the other exotic supercars. But I hate the VQxxDETT series motors.:beer3:

I'm still calling it hype. No matter how hard I try to think otherwise, it still looks ugly as hell to me. Another thing is that its HUGE. Lastly, if I drop more than $70k on a sports car, I sure as hell better have full control of it. I really don't care for buying the quickest car in the world. It makes no sense to own a sports car that practically drives itself, and very quickly at that.

There are just some things that should stay in F1 cars and should never be allowed to stray away from them (automatic dual clutch systems). Those are actually needed in F1's because the driver would probably die if they had to think about clutching and shifting an F1 at 250mph.

Now I'm not saying its a horrible car. The engineering is brilliant. I just think the marketing is attracting the wrong kind of people...

I dunno, I saw it a second time yesterday (never saw the back, only the front bumper). It was parked in the middle of the road this time and the front bumper looks a lot like a GTR. I'll sneak a pic, this is bothering me.

You should offer him $21995 and tell him it's because you would need to spend $2000 to find the oem bumper and lights, have them color matched to your car, and have it installed :smile2:

i saw one driving a few days ago! woohoo! i was like, hmm thats a weird looking car..wtf? (At night)


then it passed me, making sort of a 350~esque rumble..but WAY more agressive. the 350 is sort of a mellow, high toned ferrari sound, but the GTR is a deeper, muscley sound. sounds like a truck + 350 put together. not bad actually :P
