I'm going to be taking the Hawaii Motorcycle Safety Education Program (HMSEP) @ LCC in about a month and it says I need to bring my own DOT approved 3/4 or full face helmet. What local shops would you suggest I check ?

do you plan on keeping the helmet?
If not just buy something for the time being...
there are cheap helmets in say... Walmart... Craigslist... those free newspapers... classified ads...

Cycle Sports. The Scorpion brand is a good one for the money, in particular the EXO-700 model.

Cycle sports is great for one of the best local pricing.
If you want cheap, go my route.

newenough.com, closeout specials. I got an M2005 helmet for autox for $70/shipped. Normal price was $250!

Don't tease the "challenged"! I miss that guy, I think I'll drop by the shop sometime and see how he's doing.

And yes, see Bruce. He's always cool with the DC girls.

I'll bring it by and you can try.... I want a modular so I can ride full-face but be able to lift up the chinguard so I can talk... plus I want to paint it so it matches the bike

Lol, big head is right, thanks for letting me try out your helmet, but it just was too wittle ittle. I had to get a 3XL to fit my enormagantic skull.
