I suppose most of you have seen the ad for my 2008 Harley-Davidson 105th anniversary street glide and are trying to figure out why I would be selling a bike that isnt even 8 months old...

Harleys have way too little technology for the price. :D But the reality is that I can't afford one hehe.

Dont make me tell you the story of the motorcycle store employee that bought the "technology" (BMW) that spends more time in the shop then his HD ever did.

Every time I see his car out in front of the store I ask him if his technology was broken again.... his face gets red.... :awcrap:

I wouldnt say they lack technology.

Its not easy making a large displacement 2 cylinder engine meet EPA requirements. HD seems to be doing OK. The technology is whats making that happen. (Makes it run frigging hot too)

I'm riding what looks much like the same bike for the last 28 years.... on the outside and to the untrained eye.... but the refinements are very noticeable to those that ride them.

doesn't HOGs only go up in value?

I was gonna buy the relative, a small lil Buell. the one like MLE's sis sold. *sigh* too many toys, not enough time & funds... :mecry:

Wow, nice bike...........and NO...... I can't buy your Streetglide. I saw a bike that has 2 wheels in the front on the highway.........that's an interesting bike and probably more affordable.

^^^ 2 wheels in the front and 1 in the back? probably a t-rex. those things are pretty cool.
