The New Cars

Have you guys (and gals) heard "The New Cars" new single? I realize some of you weren't born when they were popular, but ya gotta trust me here - good 80s pop / rock music. They split the scene at the top of their game. A smart move in my book... anyway, they recently released a new single called "Not tonight". It's all about how this guy wants to meet a woman...but not tonight. Todd Rungren is the new front man. This song sounds like it could have been lifted from an 80s "Cars" recording session. I had to listen to it a few times to really dig it - but now it's on my constant play list.

The 80s. Like...tubular man. :)

Holy shiat...it DOES sound like the originals. Man..thanks Andy...I love the Cars. I've always loved them...I've got their greatest hits (even though I was a little young back then).

I'm definetly going to pick up this album!

Also, Ric has his own music as well...it's pretty damn good. One of his songs "It Gets Crazy" sounds like classic The Cars.
