today was a sad day for me.

I just got word that one of my good friends from the army passed away this week. He was driving a vehicle with a pfc. and died when an IED blew up next to him. He was 29. I spent alot of time with him when I was in the army. He was my team leader for a year, including a 6 month deployment to Egypt. We had pulled guard duty many times together and had great conversations, just bullshiting..

Dang, my condolences and respect to a fallen service member. This Memorial Day will now be even more meaningful to you. I truly am sorry to hear his passing.
