Hello All!

Welcome to the fifth of our monthly arcade contests! We took a few months break as we weren't getting the entries we needed to justify the competition, but now that HT is starting to liven up, we decided to start it all up again!

This month's first prize is a RAZO RA42 MT Shift Knob!

It fits Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Suzuki, Daihatsu, and Isuzu makes. It's a $30+ dollar value!

Second prize will be a Formula Hawaii, SLS, or OMAC T-shirt!

The tournament will be ran depending on the amount of players...2, 4, or 8 players. If there's more than 8, we will have two individual tournaments, possibly more, with the winners squaring off against each other!

The game of choice will be Pool Jam - 5 Minute Game! (http://www.hawaiitalks.net/arcade.php?&act=Arcade&do=play&gameid=117)

Please be patient with us, as this is still a very new process! If you're interested, please post with your username below, thank you! We'll start once we have a good number of individuals signed up! Watch your PMs for the notification of the tournament start! Expected start date is Friday, April 29th, 2007, if not sooner.

It is recommended you give yourself a few practice runs to familiarize yourself with the game before you enter the tournament.

There will be two 6-seeded tournaments. I'll roll by dice who gets to go against me. The winners of the two tournaments will face off against each other.

This is done by random, so it's all about luck of the draw. So hope...heh.

i don't get how the tournaments work...

does it disregard the existing, permanent high scores?

Welps, the tourneys are completly separate from the regular mode of play. Even your high score doesn't count in regular mode if you get it in tourney mode.

I can only set up tourneys for 2, 4, and 8 players...and basically, it goes by elimination style. Mano y Mano till the last guy is eliminated.

Hopefully, I'll be able to do 10, 12, etc tourneys soon.
