Whats your favorite anime series? As in all time great?

For me...it'll be Cowboy Bebop.

There are alot of good ones...I love GITS, Samurai Champloo, Wolf's Rain and a couple others...but CB FTW.

GITS FTW! 1st gig is my fav...although the flashbacks in 2nd gig were good...so I'm torn which is better.

My only criticism is both seasons have a similar ending...the team gets split up with the boss locked up and all the Tachikoma die....but in the end Sec. 9 wins...and all the 2nd seasons rookies are weaklings...not a single new cyborg.

I hope 3rd series doesnt repeat this same formula.

I agree there are too many...I'll never be able to watch every single anime out there.

But theres gotta be at least one that is absolutely on the top of your list.

My anime watching is limited but the one I watch over and over again is Kenshin (up till the end of the Shishio part). Plus the prequel videos.

Yeah...Takahashi has some pretty good stuff going on with that Anime Explorer group...definetly some pretty cool shows...all kinds, too...not just mech and robots and stuff. :D

New ones, hard to pick.. Bleach has been getting 10x better, and Naruto is finally starting to pick up after 100+ filler episodes.

I watched an episode of Bleach the other day, and thought it was pretty good...I love the action scenes, of course...I don't know enough about the story...I watched a few of the beginning episodes, but never got into it much.

I have been watching some of the anime on Adult Swim, and recently, on KIKU, but I just don't have the time to watch them like I used to when I was younger...I still want to get into drawing manga again sooner or later...I used to be huge fan of Macross, and drawing Battloids all day was so much fun...heh.

I'm not sure if I can settle on just one favorite, but if I had to it would probably be Blue Gender *points at sig*. Something about it just grabbed my attention when I saw it on Adult Swim. Now I have the boxed set, and I've watched the whole thing through about five times. :D
If I couldn't pick Blue Gender, then I'd say either Initial D or The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya would be the runner up. Despite some of the unrealistic races, I love watching the drift battles in Initial D. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is just zany, and has all sorts of jokes to keep you entertained. So I picked a philosophical, an action, and a comedy anime. I think I covered all of the bases. :gapteeth:

The Gundam SEED/Destiny series. I know, everyone hates the series, but I love it. I'm too young to enjoy the original Gundam series (although I still do enjoy it), but the CE universe will always be my forte, even with the plot holes galore!

Although I am really addicted to Bleach right now. Yeah I know, I'm new-school when it comes to anime.

My sig says it all. Kinda torn between 1st and 2nd gig. However slight edge goes to 1st gig because the character designs were more polished. 2nd gig was inconsistent.

Naruto.. I thought it was stupid at first then my kids forced me to watch a few episodes.. I'm hooked now.. Before it was either Robotech, or starblazers. I stopped watching starblazers, cause I didn't think they'd ever reach Escandar..
