Really cool story on CNN today.

Today CNN is running a story on an Army Sergeant Collier. Apparently he's been a pen pal to an entire class of elementary school kids in New York over the last year or so. He took a 2 week leave from Iraq and took time out to go see the kids - they had no idea he was coming, so it was pretty cool to see 'em freak out when he walked through the door of their classroom. :)

It's wonderful to hear a positive story like that...for a second there, I thought it was going to end up in tragedy, but I'm glad to see that wasn't the case. :D

Same here, I was glad to hear that this story turned out positive. I was expecting a smart remark like it was Michael Jackson walking through those doors or something.

I was thinking something along the lines as the guy got killed or something...so I'm definetly relieved that it wasn't what I thought. So...Pessimistic. :(
