Although, I could never go back to FWD, I think...even for a cruiser. It looks like mid-200's is becoming the norm for cars in this class. Not bad.

I hope the guy that thought of that commercial gets his azz handed to him by an FD. It's probably why he made it in the first place, now that I think about it. :lightning:

They have to use a '93 FD bowing to a '06 Eclipse, hmmm? I'm not convinced. The good thing is Mitsu is still using the original 4G6 engine platform! Isn't that what's in the new Evo? I really like that motor...never had much problems and they're so smooth. I'll never go back to the Toyota 3SGTE.

Yepz...in a commercial. An FD bowing to a 260HP FWD, 3,800 lb. boat. I almost lost it when I saw it. And yeah, the top of the line model weighs over 3700 pounds. An FD weights 2800, is RWD, and has about 250HP. :wtf:

Apparently, Mitsu caught a ton of flack for it, and stopped airing it...didn't even put it on it's website because they were embarassed...heheh.

The entire RX7Club website about had a conniption...and I actually made an animated .gif out of the commercial. It proved to be pretty popular, heheh...it's amazing how stuff like this spreads through the web.
