This is for everyone that grew up watching the show and had the toys...they're about to release a new Masterpiece Edition Starscream from the Transformers.

Basically, the Masterpiece versions are high end, ultra-refined, versions of the toys you played with as a kid. They're definetly not toys...more like collectibles, as they run a hundred bucks a pop, and come in some really nice packaging.

I've got the MP edition version of Optimus Prime that's sitting on my bookshelf, and it's pretty amazing. Anyways, here's the new pics of the first prototypes...it looks pretty good, IMHO. Can't wait to see better pics and in color.

My first Transformer toy was Bumble Bee. I also had the Dynobots, Optimus Prime, that Ray Gun dude that lived in that Space station, and Transformers version of their Robotech guy. I had many more but I can't recall them all off the top of my head.

But I remember disliking G.I. Joe. I had a sh*t load of Star Wars toys though.

Oh snap I just remembered having the Die-cast 5-Lion Voltron version.

It sucked though that my mother sold all of our toys in a garage sale in bulk for $5.00 a box full.
