Just wondering, are there any places here that give a discount for alignment with an SCCA membership?

I changed out my front coilovers and have some weird toe out action going on now. Thanks in advance!

I'd like to know too. I can tell you that island brake and alignment doesn't have for sure haha.

ahhhh.... just use a level and a piece of wood or a square. LOL.

then you can use sidewalk chalk and make a thick band across both front tires. drive it for a few yards or so and then check to see if your tires are contacting the ground evenly. chalk worn down in one area first will tell you which area is contacting the ground.

its borderline rocket science. i've wasted a few new tires by screwing with my alignment at home. when in doubt.. go to lex brodies, goodyear, firestone.. they should be able to do it without charging an arm and a leg. i'm not aware of any shops that give SCCA discounts on alignment. we should ask Cory or Rick.

i've always gone to lex brodies whenever i changed my settings for auto-x and needed help getting things back to spec. they've always done a good job for me.

How much do they charge? Island Brake and Alignment charged me $101.

try scottys alignment down the road from island brake in pearl city

good stuff! dont know about discount but his price was cheaper then island brake... not to mention pretty much your going get the same good work done

pacific automotive might give you an scca discount.
i use tape measures and two alum plates to do mine... seems to work.

Thanks guys! I heard a lot of good things about scottys, might try him out as soon as I get my power steering squared away...hopefully before the weekend

I tried to do my own alignment before and that didnt go too well. Ended up picking up re01s as replacements and those things get chewed up fast

I dont trust myself enough to try it
