Last journal, I was said to be taking over ordering for our dairy department. Well...that's on the back burner now...with my dept head applying (for his old position) a grocery managers position, that will leave me to head up the frozen section.

I much more comfortable taking over frozen (again), than the dairy department. It's the same pay, with the same hours and schedule.

The only apprehension about taking over this store's frozen section is having the whole company watching. At 60k in sq ft of retail floor space, we are the largest Safeway in the company, so the heat is even greater than it was with my old store.

I should know by next weeks end.
