That is probably one of the most destructive things ever printed on a shirt.
Harmless? Mere words?
Just think if everyone took that to heart.
Ainokea. So I going grow weed and smoke 'em.
Ainokea. So I going rip off your weed and sell um for ME fo make money.
Ainokea. So I going work as little as I can and ask for as much money as I can. Cuz da employer should be GLAD that I SHOW UP for WORK....
Ainokea. So I going steal from my workplace; they no pay me enough anyway.
Ainokea. So I going cheat on taxes, EBT, food stamps, assistance, and STATE JOB CONTRACTS WAY INFLATED (cuz only da taxpayers money).
Ainokea. So I going screw around on my wife and ruin my family cuz my dick feel good.
Ainokea. So I going leave my keeds with someone else so I can party and get plastered and laid.
Ainokea. So I going rip out one baby from me because it will ruin my life; only one "tissue mass", they say.
Ainokea. So I going blow one bomb in my backyard and scare my neighbors.
Ainokea. So I going f-ckin shoot that guy; he make one boom, I make one boom.
Ainokea. So I going burn dat f-ckas house down.
Ainokea. So I going.... ____________________ (fill in the blank).
Cuz Ainokea. I do what I LIKE.

Deep inside everyone, I really think that people really do care. For some reason or other, there seems to be an inherent "mob mentality" that takes over people, and makes them into the "ainokea" types. The arrows all turn inward, it's all about me, me, me, me.... TV and movies make it look like the best life is one where self is the star.
We spiritually fit types like to think of it as the darkness of the world taking hold of a generation. The Bible clearly puts it as "the gods of the world that blind the mind of the unbelieving."
Is it hopeless? I think not. I choose to be of the "Aikea" type.
Aikea. I do what GOD like.
Be good to neighbors and others. Golden rule. Obey laws. INITIATE kindness instead of waiting for it to come to you. Be of a humble and servant heart. PUTTING OTHERS FIRST. Give my kids the best reward; a solid and happy married life, a mom and dad who love each other. And, let people know that there is hope, if only they choose to make wise decisions in their lives.
I can teach all that I know, but I will only duplicate WHO I AM.
Aikea. In 2009 I hope to practice that even more than I did in 2008.

You might get a chuckle from this but I remember the first time I saw that word "Ainokea" in the newspaper column article, I thought it was an actual place in Hawaii...
