some analysts suspect they will launch, just because they said they will. they launched a missile on 4 July 2006, and it failed miserably. they will likely try again on 4 July, just to show the world that they can.

given current technologies, IF it goes farther than their last missile (fizzled out right after launch), ASSUMING it leaves the ground at all, analysts predict it has neither the range nor the guidance to make it to Hawaii. how FAR it goes is pretty well figured out, WHERE it will go (not where it was AIMED) is anybody's guess.

Kim Jong Il is pretty much counting on a lack of unified response to a test, even one deliberately aimed at a US state. Unfortunately, he's probably right. he's hoping for a cookie to placate him after waving his stick around.

Hopefully, President Obama will offer him the olive branch of peace, then whack him with it old school.

lol even if NK did launch something in the general direction of the US, do you think it'll actually reach us? Not just talking about their lack of technology but i'm pretty sure the US has got the whole shoot shit out of the sky bit down good. Not to mention I'm sure Japan and SK would love to help us. Even if they tested a missile on the 4th of July, we should consider it an act of war and proceed to nuke the shit out of them.

I say we park a trident sub (on the surface) right at the 200 mile boundry with the hatches open and dare that little fukker to launch ANYTHING.

Time we quit trying to make the world happy and worry about the problems we have here at home. You know how many billions of our tax $$$ are going to places like Isreal and Egypt? That money could be put to better use here in the USA.
