Default 20% cut to doctors for Medicare....is that healthcare reform?

Report: Feds to pay more than half of health costs - Yahoo! News

that is how government run healthcare creates reform...it just pays people less to do more work.

do you even read these articles? it has nothing in there that actually says that the govt. is going to cut payments towards doctors. the article states that the study is assuming this will happen even though legislators have routinely axed that idea in the past!!!

no it does not. the article clearly states that the legislature has refused to do such things to Medicare. the odd thing though is that in recent years, the party claiming to oppose universal health care because it will harm Medicare, GOP, has actually attempted on multiple occasions to either kill Medicare or damage it enough that it completely fails.

I dont give a damn what party is involved....both parties are responsible.

All I care right now is its going at a runaway freight train. This article is assuming if they do go ahead and take a 20% cut (which they wont) the US Govt will be spending 50% of all healthcare spending!

And that's just maintaining the status quo...nothing to do with a new healthcare program. If they add a new healthcare program....history just shows it will add more cost.

Screw both parties...I will vote for the first party to abolish all these govt programs.
