here's my transplanted blog.

uhhh. this is for breakfast:



lunch will have to do with a head of Manoa lettuce i brought with me.

Yup... sigh... but I'll buy something more substantial later on. I didn't pack home lunch last night. Need to go grocery shopping.

we need to go to Costco too. that tamale meal is from Don Quijote. and is settling in the bottom of my stomach right now.

I'm eating some homemade sweet-sour boneless pork spareribs with ramen noodles.

First thing in the morning, I had a Diet Coke and water.


I made eggs, toast, and papayas for our late (9:30am) breakfast. Yep, I cook once in a while.

We'll probably either skip lunch, or eat an early (3:00pm) dinner, then a snack at night. Our schedule went a bit topsy-turvy this past week.

If I get hungry, there's always my V8 in the fridges here to tie me over.

Looks like chicken feet and tripe. I had both recently... neither was as bad as I had previously believed them to be lol. Just nothing I'd go out of my way to eat!

my co-worker pulled it out of the box and i gagged. so...you just chew on the claw? what do you do?

on an unrelated note, Hans Hedemann just came by and picked up parts!

Actually it's duck feet and I think that may or may not be duck meat inside... seeing how the box says "duck" rather than any other meat.

I like duck feet. Yum! Why the gagging?

had milk and a muffin for breakfast.

ive come to realize that not drinking milk consistently for the past few years... has really started to take its toll on my body. Im adding the milk to my new daily routine... so far so good

big problem was milk goes horrible with ciggs... so now im just not smoking in the morning.

i like duck, but gnawing on their feet doesn't sound so appetizing.

halfway through my low calorie energy drink and granola bar, my wife decided she wanted me to pick up lunch for her from spots.

of course, i ended up picking up something for me too, which totally defeats the purpose of dieting.

having a plate lunch while dieting is kinda like going bowling with a volkswagon. just plain overkill.

I'm 1/4 Chinese, Nor, and for some reason, I cannot see myself eating any feet, duck, chicken, etc.

I don't see any MEAT! Only kind of that skin, foot-y looking kind of stuff. And the toe claws, of course.

My wife and I saw it in a bowl on a dim sum cart in San Francisco Chinatown..about 6 in a bowl... he told us, "Chicken feets?" I asked, "What are those for?"

Just because you said so, next time I hit a Chinese restaurant in Honolulu, I'm going to look for chicken, or duck feet. Just to try them.

Chicken & duck feet is just.... ewww. I've tried it a few times (prepared in different ways). Don't care much for it. I wouldn't order it. If someone were to offer it to me, I'd decline. There's no meat, it's just cartilage and bones... omg, it's feet! FEET! I can't stand feet. Sorry but no. I'm not a fan of chicken or duck feet.

Today I had laotian beef salad and sticky rice from Chinatown.

Gonna participate in the food thread from now on....to support the former Titan. BTW Lois, I saw your hubby at Dole Monday. He was wearing a shirt that had the word pinoy on it. Was gonna say hi but that'll be weird.

Lunch - KFC's teriyaki chicken sandwich combo. Will never have that again. The chicken was more like chicken jerky. They burnt most of it.

Dinner - Baja chicken sandwich with Jalapeno chips.

I ate an orange an hour ago but I'm still hungry.

breakfast, probably oatmeal...

i didn't get to eat that bento yesterday because lunch was interrupted 87549832789 times by people and phone calls. took it home and Mr. T got to eat it. =(

Breakfast: maple & brown sugar oatmeal for me - I add a dash of (half&half) cream to it. Makes it smoother.
