i woke up early today because i have a P0300 code on my 3.8L camaro. i need to fix it before the next SCCA event this coming weekend.

if that stupid intake manifold gasket is leaking again... i'm gonna put sealer on both sides. hopefully its just a loose vacuum line... if it is the gasket and i let it go, it will ruin the valve seats like what happened with the last owner.

oh crap, this happens right when i'm pulling an engine out of another camaro... i need more coffee.

i got new underwear and it makes my butt look so sexy... no wonder women are nice to me. all this time i thought is was because of the buldge in the front. go figure.

You sure you don't have a bad coil pack??? Those coil packs sit right under the cowl panel which never gets all of the water into the drains. Some end up on the coil packs and shorts them out over time.

yeah... the GM design engineers must have been on vacation when they put those packs and module right there. its like those caravans with the ecm right under the drip rail... WTF did they do that for?

i'm hoping its a vacuum leak. symptoms are only at idle, its a little rough. started it up this morning and it doesn't miss. stupid piece of sh*t! LOL

there's a duplex in town for $399,000! you can rent out downstairs.

there'[s some nice properties in Kailua that would easily have been selling for $1,000,000 a couple years ago, going for $600K and $775K.

cool. those video games actually have some real-life applications.

learning about and practicing countersteer and drifting on the ds has actually benefitted my son while driving his r/c drift car... now he can countersteer and lift throttle his way out of a long drift instead of just sliding sideways until he spins out or hits a wall.

months of explaining to him how things worked with the r/c car just wasn't working for him - but put him on the video game and letting him figure it out for himself, he picked it up in a couple of days and was drifting around the church gym this morning pretty well.

he got some pretty mean approach/entry angles and full-lock, full-throttle countersteer on the exit, all four tires spinning the whole way.

tried to convince wife's youngest brother about moving outside of town, but he was born and raised in town, so he's kinda spoiled. wants something in town, close to downtown where he will most likely be working (don't most architects/engineering firms work in downtown these days? i'm not sure - haven't worked in town in like 20 years).

family day at the Academy of Arts today.

gonna pack up the son and head down there in a bit - he and my wife went down yesterday and there was a lady making mylar balloon things in that activity room downstairs. son had a blast looking at that, and the japanese sword exhibits.

Windward side to town--the traffic ain't so bad.

today we're going to try squeeze in a shopping foray to Windward Mall--then football and bbq for rest of afternoon/evening.
