how big of a drink are they looking at? if you're going to drink 2 large sodas a week, of course i can see something going wrong. on top of that, people drink soft drinks as a replacement for water which is a HUGE contributing factor.

another million dollar research study to tell me something that common sense would've told anyone...

Too much of anything is bad for you. Moderation is key...I think that's a simple lesson right there...but not enough people follow it.

People who consume over 2 large beers a week are probably at risk for pancreatic cancer too.. Water FTW

Hmm....they should look at the Kellogg brother's. One advocated sugar in cereal, one did not. Both died at the age of 91.

Or the inventor of Cup o Noodle who died at the age of 96.

This is not all sugary drinks...but one basic and obvious problem is calories. Too many calories causes weight gain and all the problems associated with obesity.

This link is a list of 20 drinks that give you alot of calories. Too bad so many of these drinks taste so damn good....

wow...Drink # 1 has over 2000 calories!

Meh...we all gonna die. Either as a shriveled prune or otherwise. Depends on how you wanna go out, I suppose. Moderation is key...that's all.

Dr. Hiromi Shinya, the world's top rated gastro-interologist has a book out called "The Enzyme Factor" read it and follow it like a bible. Out of the THOUSANDS of cancer patients that he has had on his diet (who followed the diet) none has had their cancer return. But his diet goes beyond food. It encompasses breathing, emotional management, clothing and water. He tells you what kind of water to drink and WHEN to drink it and in what amounts. Mean!

Suger is acid forming. Corn syrup is the worst form. Its not just about calories.

There is no cure for pancreatic cancer. If caught early, the cancer can be cut out. But most cases the solution is a transplant.
