I'm afraid I'm turning into the very things I spoke against when I was living on a quiet country island.
I'm cranky, opinionated, short-fused, critical, and grouchy.
Maybe it's just that I didn't go

...and He certainly heard my prayers, and complaints.
We have a major reorganization of our management team, that is, without putting too much out on my blog, an answer to my prayers. I certainly see a culture "shift" on the horizon, and it's only going to be for the better.
In other news... it was leaked out at our Practicum with 30 other pastors, their spouses, and half our staff present, but I have a new assignment on the horizon... we...

I come back to Oahu to find that my church has changed drastically. In my opinion, not for the better.
I'm caught in my own dilemma; do I just support my leaders and the hand that feeds me, even if I don't fully agree with some of the methodology used to "do church" as we know it? Or do I follow my heart, and ask tough questions and make bold statements that at best, wobble the boat, and at worst, turn the apple cart over?

At 11:57 am today, the final documentation was signed, and we have officially closed our retreat center.
