We all can't help but sometimes wonder about yesterday and the decisions we've made.
I'm working 2 jobs so I'm not usually online much anymore. I check email and then go to sleep. My typical workday starts from ~5am (when I wake up), then I go to the first job. In the evening, I work at a second job and return home around 9pm. The latter job is only a temp job so I work while I can. I typically work 6 days a week.
I'm just incredibly tired and wish it were a bit easier but bills need to be paid, and life needs to be survived. There's no free handouts.

I started off last year in transition and I'm starting off 2009 in transition again. The bills/money issue have been temporarily calmed by my bookstore job but I'm still trying to keep my head above the water and look for something better. I'm keeping hopeful; doing whatever I can. However I often feel very tired and beaten down; always on my feet. The constant ice and snow; the grey weather is not helping. I'm also a bit sick.
This year is one of change... I know I won't be alone...

I met up with the folks on campus today from their Equity Office (not the exact name) -- thinking there was a position open since the Director had made it sound so promising when I spoke to her last week... She'd told me to come by this week so we could chat about "job opportunities."
Only to find out that there's no position open. Then she says that their Receptionist position had just been filled and unfortunately, there aren't any junior positions open. Fxck. I know this...
