duuuude, i told you to contact him on FB...he's on there a LOT...they're busy so you gotta make sure it's on like Donkey Kong. they need requirements (set-up and PA, etc) so i think you need to sort stuff out, and i noticed they have a gig later on in the evening too.

Well, hell, lois, I got email confirmation that he is down, and that he need a sound system, so that's what I'm working on. I emailed him again...I'll yell at him on his facebook. I just assumed he wrote it down on his schedule when he confirmed it with me.

Yeah, I need the full kit and kaboodle for the sound system.

working on it, fearless leader. our personal system may have to be borrowed by our church while we are renovating and reinstalling our a/v system in June (first we have to rip out all the old stuff - literally).

if i can get our system for the day, though, if anybody would be kind enough to help us move this stuff to ATM?

garanz gonna need help w/ transport. it's enough stuff to fill up the back of a full-size p/u AND my van, or most of a moving van (like a hi-cube or one of the fedex trucks). covered truck preferred in case of rain during transport.

also - anybody got dollies like furniture dollies that we can borrow that day? makes it easier to move stuff. you don't want to know how much the main speakers weigh.

and manpower, lots of manpower. some of the speakers and our soundboard and amp rack/case i can't move alone - i can't even pick them up.

i don't have a bass head or amp/speaker with our system since, our bass player has his own gear. if GHB has a bass player, he'll need to bring his own equipment.

and someone to look after it after i have to leave to take my son home - (i don't think i can keep my son there and interested the whole day). i'm assuming GHB has their own sound engineer?

if i have to leave it there, i can come back at the end of the day, if people can help me get it back to either church or my friend's storage facility? gotta warn ya, though - it's not fun moving all that stuff.

oh, and electricity - we draw a lot of juice with our equipment.

oh, whoops -

they will need their own mikes and cables. we usually borrow the mikes and snake/cables from another church group we do outreach with, since we're mobile... but they're not mine to lend, though.

we have a 24ch mackie board, so we'll have plenty of channels for them to plug into if they want to run all vocals and instruments (except for the bass) through our board.

'kay... trying to think what else we don't have that we'll need...

i don't have lights or anything like that, though... i'm not a dj or anything.

it's not gonna be like rock concert equipment or anything, though... ain't gonna look like an ac/dc concert with massive towering speakers or anything (gotta be mobile) but i think we'll have enough power to make ATM deaf, esp. if we wire mono.
