Default New facility

Let's hypothesise that a new track is ready by February or so of next year. If this comes to fruittion I am wondering how many of the old Drift Session guys would be around to participate in events and if we needed to charge a bit more if these folks would be willing to fork up a little extra cash.

Can someone do a survey?

I'd be willing to fork out the extra cash for track days, especially if its with the old DS format. I've paid $125 for sessions at Drift Days in Cali. How much more are we looking at?

I don't think getting drivers out there will be an issue, everybody is itching for some type of legal place to drive.

i second that! I have alot of customers who, over the past couple years have faded in and out working on their cars. They do all kinds of other things but it always comes back to messing with their cars. Right now everyone is dying to have a place to run. I dont think attendance will be an issue. =)

i agree if a track is built people will come if not more than before im pretty sure AT THE LEAST attendance will be just as much as before but with the recent media attention that drifting is recieving im sure attendance wouldnt be an issue.

Well, spread the word that we need as much supporters at this upcoming HCDA meeting on Sept 3 (Wed) at the new DHHL building in Kapolei, right down the street from Kapolei Middle School on Kapolei Parkway.

The more people that show up in support of the temp-site, the more convincing the people there will be that we need a race track. You don't have to be a drifter or racer to support . . . bring your friends and your whole family!

Hell Chris... just for the fun of it I'd slap some domestic POS together with a spool and some fun gears and come out to play...

It'll help keep miles of my Harley on Sundays anyway... LOL

I think we'll have no problem getting the regulars back just as long as there's set dates for drifters/drivers/spectators. People want predictable dates.

They also want events put on by someoen they trust that wont push event dates back endlessly

I think one day soon we'll see a schedule that shows at least one drift (Drift Session type) and one grip (Superlap type) event per month. I think it would be cool to run events in a manner similar to those we used to run on a regular basis

I'd fork the extra cash to be able to play again.

540 powered MCSS for a drift car?.... I'd need a tire sponsor!
